Tulsi Amrit Niketan School is situated in KANORE which is located in the southern part of Rajasthan in the district of Udaipur. Even though this Town is very small with the population of hardly 13000 but it is a hub of Educational Institutions next to Udaipur City in the whole district. The reason behind this is that this town is surrounded with big water ponds and the verdant Aravali Hills that add to its scenic beauty.

It was way back in 1985-86 when all the followers of Jain Terapanth Sangh were enthusiastically celebrating the AMRIT MAHOTSAVA (Golden Jubilee) year of completion of 50 years of Diksha of Gurudev H. H. Acharya Shri Tulsi, the followers of Kanore town were fortunate enough to have special 5 days stay of Gurudev in this town from 1st to 5th Jan 1986. Some Stalwarts of Jain Terapanth Sabha Kanore got together and decided to start Hostel facilities for students coming from outside Kanore for School education so as to make this auspicious visit of Gurudev as a memorable event.

Accordingly with the blessings of Gurudev Tulsi the process of purchase of land was initiated. It was October 5th 1986 when the foundation stone was laid for construction of a Hostel Building. The Hostel was inaugurated and commissioned in July 1988 with the admission of 27 students.

With the blessings of Gurudev Shri Tulsi, Acharya Shri Mahapragya and now of Acharya Shri Mahashraman and also with the support of donors, well wishers, students, teachers, parents and the members of the Management Committees, the Sansthan has made commendable progress during the past.

Tulsi Amrit Niketan Sansthan is providing several facilities on nominal fee basis to the students who wish to take admission in the following wings.

1. Hostel facilities for 300 boys and 60 girls at separate locations.
2. Tulsi Amrit Upper Primary School (Hindi Medium)
3. Tulsi Amrit Sr. Secondary School (Hindi Medium)
4. Tulsi Amrit Academy Sr. Secondary School (English Medium) from Nursery to 12th Standard.
5. IT IS PROPOSED TO START A DEGREE COLLEGE FOR SCIENCE, COMMERCE AND ARTS GIRLS STUDENTS. THE PROPOSED NAME OF THE IS COLLEGE “ TULSI AMRIT BASANTI DEVI TARA CHAND PARMAR BALIKA MAHAVIDHALAYA, KANORE (RAJASTHAN)”.

The Institute is governed by the Management Committee which is presently headed by Shri Naresh Kumar Parmar who is a well known Businessman of Mumbai as Chairman. Shri Manoj Kumar Bhanawat is executing the duties of Director and is responsible for smooth functioning of the Institute. Shri Sawai Lal Pokharna who has been associated right from the day of initial planning is strong “Foundation Pillar” of the Institute is now Chief Patron. This team is ably assisted by the other highly committed member of Management Committee who are not only professional but also have long experience in such activities.

Our great Gurudev Shri Tulsi visited entire length and width of our vast Motherland by walking with bare foot and spread the message of Universal Brotherhood and Non-violence as a major part of ANUVRAT MOVEMENT. He also believed and emphasized that any qualitative changes in the Society is fast and easy provided moral education is made an integral part of academic courses.

Tulsi Amrit Niketan is, therefore, committed to impart value based education together with latest technology available and grooming the children as sincere students of today and responsible citizen of tomorrow.

To impart Value Based Education among our students enabling them to achieve academic new heights as well as developing sense of Tolerance and Universal Brotherhood for peaceful co-existence among various sects of the Society.
